Family Run Specialist or Large 'Events Company'?

Scottish Wedding Consultants only specialise in weddings! We talk to you on a one-2-one level, guiding, advising and talking with you about the options available to make your wedding a unique and special occasion?

Paid Advertisements? NO WAY!

One thing you should know is that we do not accept PAID ADVERTISMENTS on our websites. In fact, all of the Wedding Venues, Wedding Services, Accommodation and Service Providers we use and recommend have stood the test of time, in providing unmatched levels of quality and service.

What else DON'T we do?

We don't recommend people that pay us to say they are 'the best', and we don't have 'sales teams' selling advertising space on our websites!

We also don't offer 'sourcing facilities' to 'fix you up' with suppliers, then leave you alone to sort things out! This method of 'co-ordinating' still leaves couples with the worry that last minute changes or last minute hitches may leave you running around at the final moments trying to sort out problems themselves!

There is one particular anecdote that springs to mind....

One couple from the US were unfortunate to lose their wallet with credit cards and cash late on the night before their wedding. They phoned us and we arranged to meet early the next morning to take them to the American Express office in Edinburgh. There we helped them to arrange replacement travellers cheques and cancel all credit cards, as well as checking the taxi companies to find the wallet. These arrangements all took time and as a result all the wedding day arangements had to be put back by two hours. This sounds simple, but we re-arranged the minister, the photographer, the videographer, flower delivery, castle wedding and dinner arrangements, the piper, the wedding car, informed the guests etc.
ow would you feel about having to handle all of this on your wedding day should something unexpected happen?

We feel that the services of a wedding co-ordinator are invaluable and they are always much more than just a booking agent or arranger!

Here at Scottish Wedding Consultants, we won't leave you at the alter, we are here with you every step of the way!

Again, we do not accept commission fees from suppliers for 'sending them business' - we co-ordinate weddings with integrity and professionalism

We are always there with you on the day to make sure everything goes perfectly, no matter what surprises are thrown at us!

We are good at what we do! We certainly don't arrange sales conferences in San Jose, we don't arrange business trips to Antarctica, and we don't do 'Birthdays & Funerals' in St Andrews, but we do work with you to create your fairytale Scottish Dream Wedding !
